SCIENTIFIC STUDIES ON GEORGINA REGAN
Georgina Regan has participated in several rigidly controlled scientific studies designed to test the nature, effectiveness - even the existence - of her healing abilities in different parts of the world.
Well known para-psychologist, Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama of the International Association for Religion arid Para-psychology of Tokyo, Japan, is also a Japanese parapsychologist, scientist author, shinto priest and spiritual instructor, who invited Georgina in 1978 to undergo a series of stringently controlled laboratory experiments. Dr. Motoyama is the inventor of a computer driven device called the Apparatus for Measuring the Functions and the Meridians and their Corresponding Internal Organs (shortened to AMI). This machine measures the condition of a subject's acupuncture meridians by detecting small electrical charges when a three-volt DC current is applied at the seiketsu points located at the fingers and toes tips.

In one test, Georgina was asked to perform a therapeutic healing on a subject who had previously been tested with the AMI and found to have abnormalities in the meridians associated with the liver and gallbladder. Following the treatment, the subject was tested with the AMI once again. The results were positive and measurable. In Dr. Motoyama's own words, " ... the injection of psi-energy by Georgina undeniably affected the meridian and sympathetic nervous system. It is particularly note-worthy that significant changes were induced in the liver and gallbladder meridians and the sympathetic nerves supplying these organs."
In the department of Physics at Birbeck College of the University of London, Professor 1. B. Hasted and
D. Robertson conducted experiments to determine if psychics, including Georgina, could actually produce electromagnetic changes measured by sensitive instruments. The room in which the experiments were conducted was carefully shielded from outside electrical energies and the instruments, experimental subjects and equipment thoroughly grounded to be sure that any electrical changes measured were not the result of any ambient charges in the atmosphere. |
These tests showed conclusively that Georgina could produce an electrical current through her hands that could be measured, even though she was not touching the measuring instrument. Not only could she produce this current, but she could sustain it over a period of time.
Dr. Elmer Green, Ph.D. of the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas, completed a series of stringently controlled scientific experiments with Georgina, known as Subject 11 and Subject 70, and other well known American therapeutic healers, on his "Copper Wall Project." It was discovered that Georgina could produce 40-volt, 60-volt and 220-volt pulses of body voltage while working on individuals well in excess of the other participants. General normal body voltage is between 3 to 7 volts. No known scientific explanation exists for such large magnitude electrical phenomena.

Dr. Green mentions, in a memo for those interested in healing and in healing phenomena, "It is safe to say that Georgina Regan is one of the world's finest examples of a client-centered healer. Not only does she produce phenomenal electrical data in the laboratory, but during the healing sessions she teaches clients the rudiments of self healing. What she has to offer is a regimen that, in my estimation, in this century will be a significant component of medical team expertise."

Professor William (Bill) A. Tiller at Stanford University California prepared the result papers on Georgina in a second continued experiment with the Copper Wall, where she was referred to as subject 70 - session 7.
All the above experiments have been the subject of papers published in scientific journals. Georgina continues to offer herself for participation in legitimate scientific inquiries.
